Our facelift programme is built around the deep-plane technique, which repositions the structural layers of the face rather than tightening the surface. Combined with a discrete necklift, the result lasts decades and ages alongside you. We do not perform 'mini-lifts' for patients who would be better served by waiting, nor 'mega-lifts' that ignore facial harmony.
If you are considering a 'mini-lift' under the age of forty, we will likely talk you out of it. The right operation, at the right time, is part of the answer.
- Deep-plane technique with SMAS repositioning
- Discrete pre-tragal incision
- Combined necklift in single operation
- Lymphatic-supported recovery protocol
- Mid-40s onwards, with established laxity rather than early signs
- Patients who would rather wait once and do it well
- Combined with eyelid refinement where indicated
How the operation is approached.
01
Deep-plane, not skin-only
Skin-only lifts pull the surface tight and leave structure unchanged — the giveaway 'wind-tunnel' look. Deep-plane work repositions the underlying layers, which is why the result reads natural.
02
Necklift in the same operation
The neck and jawline are visually inseparable from the lower face. Treating one without the other rarely ages well.
03
Hidden, not just small, scars
Incisions sit pre-tragal, behind the earlobe and into the hairline. They are invisible at conversational distance from the first month.
Rest 10 — 14 days · presentable in 3 weeks
Full activity at 6 — 8 weeks. Longevity: Typically ten to twelve years before any consideration of secondary refinement.
Day 0 — 1
Atelier suite
Surgery, overnight stay, anaesthetist review and pain protocol.
Week 1
Quiet at home
Daily concierge check-in. Lymphatic drainage from day three.
Week 3
Return to social life
Make-up cleared from week three. Most patients return to dinners and meetings comfortably.
Month 6
Studio review
Photographic side-by-side and a long-term maintenance schedule.
Before you reserve.
Will the result look pulled?+
No — that is precisely what the deep-plane technique avoids. The repositioning happens at the structural layer, not the skin.
When is the right time?+
We rarely perform a full lift before the mid-40s. Earlier laxity is often better managed with energy-based tightening or a mid-face refresh.
What about the eyes and brow?+
These are assessed at consultation. Where indicated, blepharoplasty or a discrete brow refinement is combined in the same operation.
